PASSION

AN ARTISTS JOURNEY INTO THE LIGHT

"Stevens knocked us out with her ferocious performance..."
Cabaret Exchange, New York

"A One-woman musical and theatre extravaganza!"
AAAArtists International

"The Swedish-born Stevens sings of deep emotion as only the Nordic can"
Time Out, New York

Fresh from sold out performances throughout Europe and her recent debuts at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, the Swedish actress Olivia Stevens is back! Her latest show is a personal journey featuring amazing stories and songs from shows she's performed around the world. It's a whirlwind rollercoaster tour from Ingmar Bergman in Sweden to Théâtre du Soleil in Paris.

Entering in a chic black outfit, Stevens launches into "The Singer" by Kander and Ebb, breaking up the lyrics by telling us bits of her life story. She begins describing an audition for the famous stage writer-director Ariane Mnouchkine of the Théâtredu Soleil in Paris. Standing at the top of a tall ladder, she is terrified when Mnouchkine tells her to fall backwards. Singing "Look Mommy, No Hands" Stevens draws us into her world of memories.

The songs featured in "Olivia - Passion" are from shows created by Kander and Ebb, Brel, Weill, and Leonard Cohen. The unforgettable songs of these icons and Olivias' stories behind them, will blossom in original French and exciting English and Swedish translations.
